I know, I know... I'm late to the game with posting this vid. I'll blame that on Cam -- Cam, you gotta tell me when your videos are coming out!!

So rather than just post another film teaser that everyone's already seen, I think it's only proper to add a little color commentary to make the post worthwhile. Here goes.

As Cam's sponsor, Trek ends up helping him out with a lot of his travel. This is common for any athlete's primary sponsor. But I remember the first time I signed off on a major Cam trip... this one in particular was for Mongolia to scout for the new Rampage location.

I nearly soiled my shorts when I saw the final amount that I'd actually signed up for, but the great thing was that once he arrived, everything was cheap. But really, any idea what flights to China run? Not cheap. The flight cost more than my '97 Civic with 200k on the odometer. 

So of course I called him to talk about it after the fact. But before I picked up the phone, I made sure to watch the classic Cam Bike Repo video. Haven't seen that one? Here it is. I made sure to watch it because it's a solid reminder that the guy isn't trying to put one over on anyone. In fact, if he's out to get anyone, it's the bad guy.
